Social Accountability System SA 8000 Certification
Received the Social Accountability System SA 8000 certification for its design, manufacture, selling and supply of PV modules and systems and the manufacture of upstream products, including polysilicon, ingots, wafers and cells.
SA8000, created in 1997 by Social Accountability International (SAI), is an international standardized code of conduct for improving working conditions around the world. -
Deloitte Technology Fast 50 China 2009
Deloitte included Yingli among its "Technology Fast 50 China" companies for the second time since 2007. This list ranks leading companies in the technology, media, and telecommunications sectors based on their average revenue growth rates over the last three years.

Yingli was named one of the most promising companies in the energy sector as part of The Asset China's Most Promising Companies 2009 award by The Asset magazine, an Asia-based financial publication delivering authoritative coverage and independent research of Asia's financial industry.

Euromoney and Ernst & Young Global Renewable Energy Award 2009
We received the "Equity Deal of the Year – Technology" award from Euromoney and Ernst & Young Global Renewable Energy in recognition of the Company's successful June 2009 equity follow-on offering of 18,390,000 ADSs which helped to raise investors' confidence in the renewable energy sector.

First China-Based Company to Join PV CYCLE
In May 2009, we became the first China-based company and the 40th member to join PV CYCLE, an organization based in Brussels, Belgium, that promotes voluntary take-back and recycling of end-of-life PV modules. As a member, we will participate in PV CYCLE working groups aiming to define collection and recycling targets for the PV industry, develop voluntary agreements among members, and hone PV CYCLE’s business model and outreach strategy.

China Environmental Friendly Enterprise
In September 2008, Yingli was awarded the title "China Environmental Friendly Enterprise" by China's Ministry of Environmental Protection. This award recognizes Chinese companies with outstanding achievements in emissions control, resource conservation, industrial waste recycling and disposal, environmental management system construction, and ecologically conscious manufacturing procedures.
