Football for Hope. Energy for Hope.
FIFA’s Football for Hope program provides hundreds of thousands of underprivileged young people in Africa access to Football for Hope centers that use the power of football to promote health, education, and general well-being. The movement is a catalyst for innovation and social investment in various sectors of society. As new centers continue to become operational, the program is increasingly gaining recognition and attracting new resources and expertise, including in solar energy.Learn More
In 2011, we formed a philanthropic partnership with GRID Alternatives, a nonprofit solar installer providing renewable energy and energy efficiency services, equipment and training to communities in need. As the organization’s first and largest Official Solar Module Provider, we have given 2 MW of solar modules through a combination of donations and fair market value purchases.
Together, we have helped bring renewable energy to over 800 low-income families across California and Colorado, saving them an estimated $20 million over the solar power systems’ lifetimes.Learn More
Powering Advancement with Solar and Soccer (PASS)

This initiative combines the financial and educational benefits of solar power systems with the health benefits of exercise to schools in at-risk neighborhoods. Through this program we hope to get young people excited about caring for the environment and maintaining active lifestyles.Learn More
