One of the biggest rooftop solar systems in Australia, Kingspan Energy outfitted the IKEA store in Tempe with close to 4,000 Yingli PV modules covering an area over 8,400 m². The solar array displaces over 1,500 tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions per annum, the equivalent of taking 306 cars off Australia's roads each year.

The project was part of IKEA’s efforts to install solar PV systems across all their Australian stores.
